A smart Bothy situated in a superb position overlooking Loch Torridon with wonderful views over to the Torridon mountains and Alligin. The Bothy is beside the track leading down to the Log House, not far from the Balgy river and just a stride down to the shore of Loch Torridon.

It has been lovingly restored by skilled Yorkshire Stone Masons and an expert timber framer in conjunction with local craftsmen/builders.

The rooms are connected by a ‘sitooterie’ (a scottish colloquial term for a place to ‘sit out’ in!) /entrance/porch. This room has glorious views over Upper Loch Torridon to Ben Alligin. Here there is a table, chairs, 2 slated top cupboards and 2 butane gas rings to boil a kettle for a cup of tea, heat up some beans or boil an egg! Drinking water is provided in a container. Belfast kitchen sink with cold running water.

Firewood to fuel the woodburning stoves is provided and can be taken from the dry wood shed. There are two wood sheds to the west of the Bothy. One with drier wood and one with drying wood which are drawn from alternatively giving a plentiful supply.

Linen & bedding, if required, is extra, please see price in extras on booking schedule. A single or double bedding pack comprises of a duvet with cover, bottom sheet, pillow case and towel. Otherwise please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow case. Pillows are provided.

The Bothy is equipped with tea towels, washing up cloths and a kitchen towel. There is a bowl for washing up.
